Busan Gimhae Driverless LRT
[2008-2010] ADC was commissioned by Seoul Metro, as the system and operation consultant, for the review, benchmarking, systems engineering of the Busan Gimhae LRT’s, one of the very first driverless LRT in South Korea. ADC’s main role was to perform review, provide recommendation, benchmark the BGLRT system, in particular, the signalling and train control system, driverless provisions, maturity of the adopted system engineering framework and processes, key performance indicators and the O&M setup for the revenue operation.
The BGLRT was with 21 stations having a total route length of 24 km, one maintenance depot, to be completed in 2011. The estimated cost of the project was of 9,738 billion won. |
